|Days were hazy|
I was nearby resting when I heard the following conversation.
My deck supervisor were doing a maintenance on the main mast when suddenly he realized one of the screws were missing and fortunately, we were stalled near a foreign pier. Therefore, my supervisor decided to call a one of the deck cleaner as a runner to get a new screw.
"Ahoy matey, ye help me get one of this screw at the shore?" Supervisor called.
"Alright, but how do me tell the shopkeeper?" the Runner asked.
"Hmm, okay dokey, ye show this to the man and he bring ye the exact one." Supervisor explained.
So, the runner wrapped the screw with a napkin and off he went. Not long before he got to leave the ship, the Phantom appeared and then curiously with evil grinning eyes, he asked the cleaner, "Ahoy, what ye got over there?", pointing at the napkin.
"Supervisor asked me to get this at the shore!" the Cleaner explained.
With his evil eyes now look like a slit, he stares at the Supervisor coincidentally still nearby.
"Oi, ye asked the poor chap to 'smuggle' this?" the Phantom asked loudly.
"No, me only asked him to buy a screw." Supervisor explained again.
"No, ye are asking him to 'smuggle'!" the Phantom exclaimed.
Supervisor looked at me with his face puzzled.
| Taking a sample to a shop to get a new part is called a "Smuggler".|
